2024 has been a blast, and I can’t wait for the next adventure!

At the end of 2023, I applied to a slew of out-of-town showcase festivals in hopes that I would get into 1 or 2 in 2024. Much to my surprise I was accepted into MANY! I feel incredibly honored to have already traveled to FOUR new states this year alone, and now I'm preparing to set off to EUROPE for not one but TWO show-casing festivals. I am pretty floored I was chosen for either, let alone both. Late this summer I will be off to Wales for The Wales Burlesque Festival, and then the Netherlands for The Dutch Burlesque Festival where I'll bring my traveling Damsel Damage Act.

I need a little help to get there though! Every festival feels like a huge opportunity, and I have greatly expanded my networks professionally, made new friends, and increased my general happiness at every single one I've been to. I have been lucky enough to be able to fund most of my travel through my day job or previous fundraising efforts (Haughty’s Haus Party, A Vintage Barbie Soiree WAS EVERYTHING!), but the plane tickets to Europe are not cheap and I have exhausted most of my resources getting to and from the previous festivals I was accepted into earlier in the year.

Kelly O’Donnell of Starseed Studios will be back again to offer Beach themed indoor and outdoor photoshoots at the Dollhouse Northeast, and weather permitting we’ll have outdoor games and water activities so make sure to wear your hottest swimwear attire!

Limited beverages and grilled items (Vegan and non-vegan) will be provided from 3pm until they’re gone! Feel free to bring your own goodies to grill that suite your dietary preferences.

But that’s not all! There will be door prizes with chances to win gift certificates from some of Haughty’s favorite businesses, and tarot readings from everyone’s favorite Queer author and tarot expert - Cassandra Snow!

For the first time ever, Haughty will also be offering an additional first run of her new class, CREATE WITH JOY - How To Build An Act You Love . This class will be approximately 45-minutes long and will walk through how to set realistic timelines for yourself, what to think about when creating an act you want to use over and over again, and how to find what you love the most about your process.

Join Haughty on the pursuit for happiness, or at least a little joy, when building your next act! Part self-exploration, part act-development, and part goal setting, in this class Haughty will help you set up your own self-guiding system for creating acts for the long-haul that you'll continue to love for year's to come!
This class will be approximately 45-minutes long and will walk through how to set realistic timelines for yourself, what to think about when creating an act you want to use over and over again, and how to find what you love the most about your process.
Bring a notebook, your ideas, and your-self! No movement required. Class with Haughty will begin promptly at 5PM.
Everyone's favortie queer Minneapolis-based author and tarot reader, Cassandra Snow, will be joining the Haus Party where you'll be able to purchase an individualized reading for $40. Partial proceeds will be donated to Haughty and the Haus Party! Timing TBD.
Every donation to the party will get you one entry to win a gift card from some of Haughty’s favorite businesses!
The party will take place at The Dollhouse Northeast
There are two entrances to the Dollhouse Northeast. One at the front of the house, and one at the side entrance of the house. BOTH REQUIRE GOING UP A SHORT FLIGHT OF 4-5 STAIRS UPON ENTRY.
There is one bathroom located on the second floor of the house, also up a standard flight of carpeted stairs.
There is a ton of free street parking in the area, though you may have to walk a block or two depending on the events happening on 13th Ave NE that evening.

Space will be limited, and I will accept RSVP’s on a sliding scale with priority given to those who pay the fully suggested donation first.

Follow the link in the form or click here to pay the suggested donation of $25 / $35 with Class (or more if you’d like…), and you will receive a confirmation email within 24hrs.
If you would like to donate at a level of less than $25 you will follow the instructions above, but will be added to a waitlist. Those who pay the full suggested donation amount will be given entry priority.
If the list fills up with fully suggested donations, I will be SOO grateful, and those on the waitlist will be notified if they can join the party later in the evening!
If I have the chance to open up the waitlist for the full party, I will contact those who reached out in the order that their donation was received.
